My code is the same as @sheene, and my character keeps running into the mines:

Hi @ineedhelpwithcoding, please could you also post your code (formatted with three ``` on a new line at the start and end of your code to retain indentation) so we can find out the problem.

Unfortunately, then we cannot help you. Try reading all of the topics about this level and see if you can come up with at least some basic code.
