i had quite a bit of business during that business day
I had a field trip at school yesterday, but after that, my friend and I decided to take a walk in the nearby forest and then return to school by bus. However, as we got deeper into the forest, we realized that it would be better to walk all the way back. So, we followed the river. Sometimes, we had to cross the river on a fallen tree, and sometimes we had to jump over it. It was fun, but the story was just beginning…
My friend stepped into the river because a tree had broken under him. I then stepped on strange terrain that seemed normal, but it turned out to be part of a swamp. As a result, my white trainers became brown. We weren’t prepared for this trip, but we found a beautiful pond surrounded by wooden roads, which didn’t last long because we had to follow the river again. The river became wider, so we had to climb a hill through some unpassable branches.. When we finally found a place that was somewhat walkable, we saw two people with metal detectors and shovels in the middle of nowhere. So it turned out that we weren’t the only ones there. We were afraid to ask them what they were doing, so we simply walked past them and down the hill towards the river. Then we came to another area (the second set of pictures), which was really cool because it had been a long time since I had been to such a place. And since it is spring, the grass was green and beautiful. The landscape was breathtaking, with hills and a river, and there were some flowers as well, as you can see in the pictures. After a while, we realized that we had been walking for 2.5 hours and needed to get to school before dinner ended. We had to hurry and check the map, so unfortunately, we had to end our adventure (or so we thought) and head back to the road. I did manage to step in a few puddles, though… We arrived at school on time after walking through forests and swamps for 3.5 hours. Here are some pictures if you managed to read all of that:
