I joined the US Navy as an Electronic Technician in '85. I exited after almost 9 years as a Petty Officer First Class (PO1), in '94.

After that I started working at Hewlett-Packard, now known as HP Inc. and have been employed there since (approaching 24 years). I currently work as a project manager as part of Operations, in support of our customer support call centers. Part of my duties have included working with a team to produce coded solutions for some of our tools and reports. As such, HP paid to get me certified in VB.net back in '05…I’ve been attracted to programming since I was about 8 years, when I got my first TRS-80.
