That’s just how tall the interface is; there’s nothing below that, but it has a fixed aspect ratio, so it can’t expand to full height at the same time that it’s full width.
Suggestions for how to make it look more natural?
Just make it taller. At least right block(block with code editor). Or help block, it looks stripped on this screenshot:
