Get sword of the temple guard when you have enough gems. (How do you run out of gems anyway?)

How about you try protecting your paladins and preserving as much of your troops as you can? Then, once you get to the warlocks, you could shield while the rest of your troops do your work. Your paladin will keep healing you to keep you alive. Or you can just use the Runesword and one hit (hit + bash) the warlock. You still probably will have to shield when there are magic missiles nearby though. Then, once you get past the warlock, collect the gems and summon some (soldiers mainly, and a few archers) and then break the door. Let the soldiers go first, and make the archers target the witch. Or you can just move to the witch and one hit her with the runesword.
or if you want to lose soldiers but use an easier code go for an all out assult using everything all the time
