Self.now doesn't return a number

Hello everyone,

I have been playing Code Combat for a month now (Mode : Adventurer, Language : Python, Navigator : Google Chrome)

I always had trouble with function self.now but managed to find other ways, I have now reach kelvintaph-defiler and it seems like I am stuck, so I tried to see what was coming out from self.now with the method “say”, and it’s not a number :

I can’t find why it’s returning this, does someone know what’s happening ?
By the way, I’m french so please excuse me if I am not explaining myself perfectly.

now is a function, so you have to call it with (). Try self.say(self.now())
