It’s stable 77F here. I expected much colder weather tbh.

Hurricane Helene is coming through soon, and there might be tornadoes in my area.

we had hail last night  at like 3 am

Did anything break?

some hail damage on car sadly

U should move to Irving we didn’t have any hail

There was a tornado in 3 counties like, 2 hours ago.

ahhhhhhhhhhh

The power went out 4 hours ago. Luckily, the rain stopped, but the wind is so bad that some trees got a free chiropractor (aka the wind).

We are now waiting to see if there will be a typhoon holiday tomorrow. It has been a day today, but the wind and rain are not very strong. I don’t know if it will be released tomorrow. It is very annoying to have a typhoon.

Hurricane Helene aftermath that I know of:

  • Hundreds are missing in North Carolina
  • Tons of trees have fallen, causing roads to be blocked and houses to be destroyed
  • Highways were destroyed from the storm surge and flooding
  • Over 220 are dead in total (some estimate to be around 240 deaths)
  • Yellow jackets are swarming North Carolina after flooding
  • Around 1,000,000 people still don’t have power
  • Thousands of houses have been destroyed
  • Roads have turned into rivers
  • A company is being investigated for allegedly not letting workers flee due to flooding (causing the deaths of 4 people)

And there’s a Category 5 hurricane (Hurricane Milton) barreling towards the area south of Florida’s Big Bend region.
