Battles obscured by text

I’m finding that in larger battles I can’t really see any of what is going on as it is totally obscured by the text designations etc of various units. This is true when I use a large monitor and maximize the battle window size (the battle window maximization only enlarges the battle screen a small amount, removing browser tabs and window header).

Is there a way around this so that I can view the battle ?

Oh I see but how is it done in human/human battles?
