Grey screen when starting beginners campaign

Starting the campaign for beginners, i can hear the sounds and dialogues, and see the avatars on the bottom of the screen, but the “play” window is grey to me, i can’t see nothing, im using chrome Version 33.0.1750.154 m

Hey @digoblin, thanks for the bug report. It sounds like this one we’ve been chasing where the graphics rendering stops working, perhaps due to running out of graphics memory. Do you see the same thing if you close all CodeCombat-related tabs/windows and reload the site? How much memory and graphics memory does your system have?

Hello and thank you for the attention.
I tried the restart button on the top, tried refreshing and tried closing the browser and restart, but to no avail.
My graphics card is a Nvidia GeForce GT 555m 2GB, and the processor is a core i7 2670qm, 2.2GHz and i have 6GB of RAM
If there is anything more i can do, just ask :slight_smile:

Ok improvement, i tried disabling “Use hardware acceleration when available” in the chrome settings and the graphics now show up, but it runs a bit slow :\

Seeing the same issue on my machine.

Windows 8 laptop
i7-3630
16gb ram
Nvidia Geforce GT 635M

As with digoblin, disabling hardware acceleration in chrome seems to make it show up.

Tried a restart and even happens when running with no other applications or browser tabs open.
