I cannot believe I asked CodeCombat Discourse for dating advice nearly 4 years ago. Holy :rofl: No hate at all though, you guys were super cool about it. Quick update on her and me: She didn’t cheat, apparently that was a lie from her friend, we dated one more time after that, didn’t work well, and now we’re like brother and sister! Werid way things work out

I would personally recommend being very careful with online dating. If you’re correct that she’s being legitimate (which I can totally believe), you’re still not getting to know her as a person. There are so many facets to a person that is veiled by a screen. When I call or text people, even if they are incredibly close to me, I have a slightly different persona. I can conceal a lot of things that the person would actually find quite irritating irl. So while some relationships do work out online and it is possible, make sure you have many opportunities to get to know her in real life before things get really serious. Hopefully this was helpful :slight_smile:
