Sorry, that was me.
I had no idea that I was on my brother’s account…

Anyhow,

It’s awful to see the conditions that you have been placed in. This is an unjustified war crime by Russia and I can’t stand seeing all of the deaths and suffering. Western nations need to take more action to stop this genocide. Please stay safe!

yeah Alex is correct, most of the countries in Europe have close bonds with each other which means attack one country and you face fighting all of europe

@Alexbrand you have done a lot for this community
I pray for you and your family members to stay safe.

Yep, this is one of the reasons and quite big.

No, don’t think so. Russia captured and stealed Crimean peninsula in 2014, so it has ports and stuff like that already since 2014 at least. Besides, Russia had own lands and ports near Azov and Black seas. (Red area - Crimea, cought by Russia in 2014, green zone - russian lands near seas that was gain qiute mach time ago. Above red square and green lines - Ukraine for now).

No not necessarily. The West is to afraid to mess with Russia.
Well they won’t attack unless Russia attacked like, Germany or something.

Also if it attacks Russia the threat of nuclear war is big.
P.S. I don’t want to repeat what others said, but still I am very sad about this situation too, and I hope you and other Ukranian citizens will be okay.

Not complitely so. Ukraine was born even before USSR. If you heard about USA joking about Putin’s words about Ukraine:

And it’s true. Kyiv is a capital of Ukraine and Kievan Rus was the start of forming modern Ukraine, Belorus and Russia. So during 882 - 1918 Ukraine existed before USSR in different forms and borders. The thing is that Moscow/Russia tried to dominate and rule Ukraine almost all the time Moscow exists. You know, russian emperors and other rulers banned ukrainian language many times by different lows, decrees and edicts. Think about that in this way - imagine that YOUR native language is prohibited and you can’t read and teach it, learn in the school with it, listen to songs or go to the theatre…

Meanwhile, me and my family moved out of the Kyiv. But now in Ukraine there is no safe place and noone knows which choice and place is best.
My parents and other relatives stayed in the city.

[I’m flattered and deeply appriciate your words about my role and contributions in community and CoCo. Still i feel this is quite much overestimated))]

As for me - I’m near 40 years old, russian by birth, was born and grew in Kyiv, spent much time in Russia village area every year of my childhood while hollidays and times like that. So, I saw and knew Kyiv and situation about “russian language” and “ukrainian question” in Ukraine and habits and life in cirtain area of Russia also. 99,99% of russian news and messeges are propaganda( And I’m sure that sooner or later russian propagandists will appear here, on this forum.

Thay say thay “came to help and save russian inhabitants of Ukraine”. WHAT? I’m russian, i live here in the heart of Ukraine and I NEVER expirienced any type of violance or other harm from ukrainians or any other local people here. I really and deffinitely DON’T need any kind of “help” or “support” from Russia, Bilorus or occupant troops of theese countries. I didn’t call for them. One wish I could express: save and help your own countries and don’t start war in Ukraine, rise up your economy, villages, level of life. Go home immidiately! Don’t kill ukrainian people.

Yep, exactly.
But I think other countries of the world don’t even need to send their troops here. Political and economical measures of influence may help A LOT. But they must be big and strong enough and used asap. Close the sky of Ukraine for any kind of aviation! And it will left russian troops without support from air. Switching off SWIFT for all the Russia, other economical measures will weak russian economacal system, which in fact is quite primitive and have not stable base. And so on.

Many of you asked me in PM, is there something they can do to help. Yes. If you want to help - tell me in PM and I’ll try to create room for information sources you can spread all over your countries, friends and social medea.

A piece of analitycs about this war:

And russian “help” looks like some kind of this(((

Newborn infants from the neonatal intensive care unit at a children’s hospital in Dnipro, in eastern Ukraine, were moved into a makeshift bomb shelter on a lower level of the building on Thursday. Dnipro was the target of russian missile strikes

In case you don’t know - Dnipro is VERY russian-speaking city. That’t what I’m talking about: words about “help”, “save”, “protect” russian-speaking citizens of Ukraine is propaganda. Ptotect people by air-striking them? Really?!

If I’m not mistaken, Hitler started out by flexing his power a little like what Russia is doing. And that’s a really scary though for me.

Are you going to try to get out of Ukraine. Is anyone able to now?

Well… I’m full of emotions now, so I cam miss or mess a little, but the main idea stays the same:

  • Russia played main role in Moldova military conflict;
  • it attacks Georgia;
  • it sieged and steal Crimea;
  • it organized an supported terrorist regimes in Ukrainian regions of Donetsk and Lugansk…
    And every time world said “OK, OK, we are very disturbed, you’re bad boys, don’t do it” blah-blah-blah.
    And every time it was NOT the end.
    —> Now we’re here,

The next one could be any country close to Russia: Poland, Finland, Lithuania and so on…

This war is crazy :sob:

Putin must be out of his mind…
I feel bad for the Ukraine people and the Russian people against the war. They are just peaceful people minding their own business.

Let us hope that Alex and his family & friends and all the Ukrainians are safe in their bomb shelters :peace_symbol::crossed_fingers:t2::peace_symbol:

Sadly I don’t read the news, so I have no idea what the last 20 posts are about :no_mouth:

I’m very glad to hear. Russia’s objective is to take Kyiv, so it’s best to stay in areas(Especially Western regions) where conflict is more avoidable.

I am hoping that the West has some sort of plan hidden from public to stop this conflict.
