Try pressing the play button then unequiping your sword then reloading the level and try equiping the sword?
You can bypass the attack ban if you load into the level with a weapon already equipped (just saying but I abused that on my alternate account lol)
Finished with no weapons no armor. Easy. 
No glitches or cheating involved. Just code.
