I’d like to start a topic to discuss about heroes.

First, here is a table of available heros, along with their stats:

Health, damage

Health is very important, mostly for the melee heroes (warriors).

As we already know from this topic, the attack damage and the health received from items is scaled based on the hero’s stats. Note: the scaling applies only to weapon damage, not spells.

For warriors: the worn dragonplate armor/helm/shield has a very good price/value ratio.

For wizards: I suggest the embroidered griffin wool robe and the griffin wool hat (the embroidered hat is just too overpriced)

For rangers: I can’t recommend anything for the moment.

Speed

Speed is also important. However, you can greatly improve your speed by using the speed ring (+5 m/s, 2900 gems) and some boots (+2…2.5 m/s, 100…710 gems). Note: these items can be used by all heroes.

Thus, poor Tharin/Anya can go up to 13.5 m/s (more than double the original), while the maximum available speed is with Pender/Arryn: 21.5 m/s

Balance

As in so many things in life, balance is important. Having a slow but powerful hero (Tharin) not enough for all situations. And vice versa: a quick but fragile hero (Pender) can cause difficulties, too.

Very nice post!

However there are still some things I’d like to know before I know Everything I want to know about heroes.

Specifically, can you tell us more in detail about the different skills?

Unfortunately, I cannot update the original post anymore.

Alejandro = Ida = Anya = Tharin (only the images are different)

Ritic and Illia are not finished/available, so I wouldn’t add them to the list just yet.

I don’t know if anyone uses the .type of each hero but putting it here might save someone a quick hero.say(Ehero.type) or a Thang editor search.

Notes on heroes:

  • the first 4 heroes (Anya, Tharin, Ida, Alejandro) are exactly the same, only the images are different
  • the other heroes are available immediately when you subscribe, you just need to purchase them
  • the last 2 heros (Illia, Ritic) are not yet ready yet, so details may and will change

  • warcry: double the mass of hero and allies within 15m during 5s (cooldown: 5s)

  • throw: throw a razordisc on a target within 55m for 114 damage (cooldown: 3.5s)

##Nalfar Cryptor

How to unlock: subscribe

Skills:

  • sacrifice: kill an ally within 20m and transfer 90% of its health, damage and speed to the recipient (cooldown: 2s)

  • devour: deal 200 damage to a target and if it kills him gain this health (cooldown: 5s)

  • soul link: link two targets within 25m and their received damage will be split between them (cooldown: 10s)

How to unlock: subscribe

Skills:

  • stomp: knock back enemies and deal 100 damage within 15m (cooldown: 10s)

  • throw: throw a boulder on a target within 25m for 120 damage (cooldown: 8s)

  • hurl: through your target behind your head, dealing 50 damage (cooldown: 5s)

I spoke with the developer Nick Winter himself. He announced that they were going to add this new Mage hero into the game, kinda like a stronger version of Nalfar, Omarn, and Pennder. In the same update, they are releasing Illia Shieldsmith and Ritic the cold and possibly the new world

Health: 120%

Speed: 11 meters per second

Skills: Wall Of Darkness, Shadow Vortex, Blink, Phase Shift
