Every Gif I try to upload is transformed to Jpeg. Gif is compliant with the file size limit.
Are you referring to Gif’s on CC or in general?
I cannot upload gifs to discourse as did it before ( this image is on CoCo server uploaded last year )
@xython there’s an upload limit to GIFs now. Try reducing the size of the GIF to ~10 MB. You can use GIF compressors to help reduce the size. Ideally you can use an external source(Such as Imgur) to upload your GIFS.
No, the limit for Gif compression was 4MB and I was always compliant with this. Maybe the available space is filled up from The Memes Topic pictures and similar?
I don’t think so. There’s a secret upload “cap” for GIFS(But not other uploads) for Discourse. I’ve had this issue several times, and fixed it by compressing the GIF. We still have plenty of storage left though.
