hi there! Yes I’m alive and in safe place. I can’t say I’m fine though… War is not child business, not child business… So I keep silence and don’t post here much things about it. But my heart is broken and my soul is devastated… Russia brings too many grieves to Ukraine. I’m adult man and used to think that I’m calm and not very emotional one. But I’ve cried so much tiers since the war has started that I’ve never cried for all my previous life. Sometimes because I was touched with support of people from all over the world to Ukraine, sometimes because of help to our country, sometimes because of proud of civilian Ukrainians, sometimes because of proud of our army. But there’s is also very much reasons to cry more, and very dark ones…
War is hell and it shouldn’t exist on Earth in 21 century…
As for conditions - we have good chances to win this war regarding to support of many countries. But every minute of the war our country losses lives of our people. The bad thing is that to lose the war would mean death of much more number of people.
As for Putin - he looks like “Nuclear Ghandi” to me, if you know what I mean.
There are so many ways to resolve conflicts without war, but humanity keeps repeating mistakes. It’s incomprehensible at times that this is happening in the 21st century. This is something that is from world war II, but it’s happening right now. Every day I go to bed I feel the surge of guilt that I am not able to directly help those in Ukraine or stop the conflict. It’s agonizing to see completely innocent lives being brutally lost and children who are much younger than me, who were a few months ago playing in the playground, being trapped in dark, cold, shelters with lack of food, medicine, and sanitation. No human should ever have to go through these atrocities. War brings only hatred, grief, and devastation, and I pray that this conflict ends. @Alexbrand I’m extremely glad to hear that you’re in a safe place, and I really hope that you and your family are able to return back to your home country soon.
It may seem like that, but honestly, think about Hitler. It was better for the world when he died. I hope (and even seriously pray) that Putin might die and through his death our world will make peace.
Yes, that’s why I said I hope and pray peace will return. But I have no clue if it will. At points like these I’m thankful there’s a God who watches over and know what’s best for us.
