Max Maxer: Decoys?

I got this from a different thread, Mad Maxer (Clojure): Ran out of time?

In Mad Maxer, all the ogre munchkins/scouts seem to have been mysteriously transformed into decoys. Is there a reason for such strange behavior?

Mad Maxer was too hard when the munchkins were killing you, so we switched them to decoys instead.

Really? I didn’t find it that difficult, but that must have been just me.
