Hey there everyone - especially you, admins.
Myself and a few others have compiled a couple of issues and improvements for this forum, which shouldn’t be (from our knowledge) too difficult to implement/fix.
- Gear icon
This has been a problem for a while on the CodeCombat Discourse now. Until a few months ago, upon clicking the gear icon (found in the top row of buttons which can be seen when creating a post)[1] a menu would appear, containing shortcuts for spoilers, polls, etc. Now, however, when clicking it a blue bar appears under the button, but no menu. This makes once simple tasks like creating polls much more arduous, and a fix to this feature would be appreciated. - Updated members/active users list
Yesterday, a new feature was introduced which placed topic info + a list of active members under the most recent reply, but above the “Reply” button and other useful features. This new addition, whilst informative, slows down formerly simple processes such as replying to a topic or changing the notification settings for that topic, as the user needs to scroll further. Perhaps this information could be repositioned to be below these other elements?
Hopefully this post will be seen by someone who can act upon the feedback presented. Any other suggestions or responses are welcome
