Hot seawater in hydrothermal vents does not boil because of the extreme pressure at the depths where the vents are formed.

by definition a soup is a liquid dish, typically made by boiling meat, fish, or vegetables, etc., in stock or water
this means the ocean could still be a soup, just not a typical one
we can at least agree that the ocean is cooked though, right?
