it is, what do you know
I was just acknowledging your joke, sorry if it came across as disrespectful.
I accept your reason, and my disorder is called delusional disorder, search it up
The diagnosis of a delusional disorder is made when a person has one or more non-bizarre (situations that are not real but also not impossible) delusional thoughts for one month or more that cannot be explained by any other condition. An individualās cultural beliefs merit consideration before coming to the diagnosis
That description has nothing to do with what you said
Also if you have delusional disorder that everything you say is of questionable accuracy ![]()
Yeah, it could be, mine is a mild diagnosis
But the thing is a disorder is not a excuse for actions
Actually - whilst I donāt want to take sides here - a disorder is a valid excuse for actions. They can occur for many reasons and have side effects that negatively impact people. For example, Generalized Anxiety Disorder can cause someone to act in a manner that may be seen as disruptive sometimes. They may struggle with social interactions, have difficulty concentrating, or express concerns that others perceive as irrational. It is a very good āexcuseā for the personās actions; they have done nothing wrong intentionally.
Ok the if I am a sociopath than I can k*ll people and it is fine due to my inability to feel emotion
No, but in this case itās not as bad. Iām not going to claim that Iām right, but this is the opinion that Iām putting forth at this time:
A sociopathās inability to feel emotion does not mean that they donāt understand that crime is wrong. The behaviour mentioned by you would have to be influenced by external factors. They could also have some legal exemptions due to their disorder.
But in a normal situation youād be excused for spelling it wrong, no?
(this is getting off-topic now, I think we should move this conversation to a PM, if thatās alright with everyone involved? I also have to go in a minute so if we could just conclude the debate in a few replies now thatād be great
)
Ok Iām done debating but in my opinion as far as behavior is concerned you should be held to the same standards no matter what disorder you have
One last thing tornado can you pls do me a favor and stop insulting people
Sry for bringing this up but I really need to say something against that.
My little sister has autism, so she has trouble communicating and intaking information. I absolutely love my sister, but she frustrates me so much when she doesnāt understand simple things. This causes her to seem odd and she doesnāt do well in school. If she was held to the āsame standardsā she would absolutely fail. She would get yelled at by the teachers and friends, and the school wouldnāt give her extra help. Is that right? I think not. Itās not her fault that thereās something off about her brain, so why punish her for it?
im sorry i was being a bit rude in the way I was talking and I did not mean it like that I was not thinking super clearly but i just want to say that by behavior i just mean being rude and i fully agree with you i also have learning disability and if i was held to the same standards as others i would fail miserably so i am sorry for how i came off
Itās alright. Letās just think through what we say next time ![]()
I couldnāt look at whos account it was, because of the darn school computers, sorry.
as a person with adhd, i can take side for tornadoās excuse. I have trouble beliving things for summ reason and disorders are very hard for a person to get through (autism, adhd, dyslexia, etc)
so i donāt think a laughing emoji is suitable from luke. just my pov but still.
i donāt think luke thought he was serious
The way he phrased it sounded to me like he was joking; I already apologized.
