Code Combat is really slow for me it keeps freezing and I can’t complete the level because it keeps freezing.

try refreshing(20char)
also try closing all other tabs it helps a bit
I have a lot of school tabs and some if I close I won’t be able to get my work back

Have you tried clearing browser history and shutting all other applications/tabs? Maybe also try to switch browser. It might go away. I once had an error where everything was always a brown screen, but it went away.
Firefox is supposed to be good for CoCo.
P.S. I see you too like lego games 
, lego online is sad for me though because there used to be so many good games like Chima online and The quest for r2d2, but they’re all gone…
