Is there anyway to have students join your clan or even subscribe without having to use an email?

While the answer is technically “Yes, email required.” you can do it by using one of the email systems that allows you to modify your address. For example, gmail allows you to modify your address like this:

myaccount@gmail.com
myaccount+studentname@gmail.com

You can create an email for each of your students, which will all actually be going to your email. Then if they forget a password and use the password recovery tool, you’ll get that too.

This is no longer true!

If students create an account using a ClassCode, they can skip the email field.

Additionally, teachers can now set the password for any student with no email OR with an unverified email address.
