Another idea is try participating in some contest/competitions together as a team where your interests meet, that could be a nice way to start talking about it and then hanging out.

You need to have clear intentions from the start, or you risk being stuck in the friend zone. Just send it.

As a Brit, I can confirm that the British have a tendency to colonise places and take stuff that’s not theirs.

Was going to say that in reply to

but Lukas was first to point this out)

Besides… Oftensometimes (:exploding_head: ) friends start to behave badly/strange/unfriendly/rude when someone new out of friend group gets in the inner circle… Especially if some kind of romantics involved.

Sounds like opening scene from B-movie thriller))

Good idea, imho. You do not need space and don’t violate rules of your parents but have possibility to communicate. But be careful till the moment you are sure that there won’t be pranks) Well, I’d say it’s common rule)

I’ve heard nice joke long time ago. It sounds like: “If one will look at the girl he likes for long enough time he could see her marrying another guy”. So… I’d say any action (in kind and nice manner and without breaking the law I mean) is better then nothing.

I didn’t see my typo until you quoted me :skull:
But anywaysss yes action is better than no action
Honestly you just need to hang out with her, see what her attitude is like towards you. If it seems like she’s not interested, you gotta sell yourself to her and show her how awesome you are. If she’s already interested, then make a move ask her out or something

Update: I told her how I felt and she said she likes me but it’s kinda complicated, WHAT DOES THAT MEANNNN

It means it’s complicated :skull:
Did she elaborate?

Idk for her instance. But, coming from a girl (me), there could be several options.

  1. Her friends don’t approve of the match
  2. Her family is going through a rough season
  3. There are household rules that don’t allow her to go out with you. Like when I was 14,15 i would never have been allowed on a date. Idk if I would be now or not.
  4. She likes you but realizes she has a limit rn. Maybe she’s swamped with school and can’t focus on a relationship.
  5. Maybe she thinks she’s ready for a relationship and likes you, but she’s not sure you’re ready. Like, I’ve known some girls who don’t think the guy they like is quite mature enough for a relationship.

Then again, there could be a gazillion different reasons. But those are several I see and hear as a girl.
