I'm able to use pets, but am not a subscriber

I used the old hoc campaigns and I was able to use pets on one of the levels. when I went back to normal codecombat main campaign I still had the Raven pet equipped, and could use it as much as I wanted. Also some of the hoc levels have been made into sub-only levels, but I still beat them.
