i thought we’d get a whole nother island harder than glacier and we got blockly for 8 year olds… a dissapointment imo

I believe the current focus is aligning the entire content for classrooms. CoCo junior allowed a way for younger students to get into programming through a hybrid of script/block coding before the main campaign starts. Focus on classroom based monetization meant that other areas of the game has less focus and hence stalled development.
The key other issue was that the glacier had too little content to justify a new island, since it only contains 30 levels and no “end game” level to cap it off, so the Volcano world is currently scrapped.
