The championship results are available. Congrats to Shininglice, the true winner!
It is quite ridiculus that some players (those labeled in the attached screenshot) never appeared before the deadline but all of a sudden listed in the finals. It is totally unfair! The objective of CoCo imho is to challenge players coding skills and strategies. If you don’t show up, how do others have chance to challenge your code?
Meanwhile, I must repeat the issue of duplicate accounts. It is cheating, not strategies. CoCo emphasizes additional accounts will be removed. But I can still see them listed in the finals.
Even after a year, I still want to explain that this kind of problem occurs every August. There are two websites, one is what we saw, and the other is for some Asians (China and Taiwan). I can understand that China cannot use Google, but Taiwan can. Why should Taiwan also use it? The bigger problem is that the upload time will be delayed. Suppose the URL we see is A and the one for China is B. I assume that I am on 8/ 29 Uploaded at A at 15:00, but people in B may see my upload at 7:00 on 8/30. Similarly, uploading at B has a similar delay. I saw this article a long time ago, but now I Only then did I understand (Note: He passed CQ2023WC048 the night before, CQ2023WC041 was indeed passed 5 minutes ago, but CQ2023WC071 took a long time)
