Student Progress Stopped

I was shown Code Combat by a student of mine. I like it, so I created a class. When he joined the class he was no longer able to make progress, since now it would have to cost him (or the school) money. So, I “removed” him from the class, but now whenever he hits “Play”, he is brought to his settings page and asked to join a class.

I don’t want him in a class.
He doesn’t want to be in a class.
We want him to be able to continue using the website’s free content.

What can I do?

You need to contact team@codecombat.com and tell them his in-game username and associated email address along with a clear request of what you’re asking for. Only they can change him from a student account to a regular account. It can’t be done here.
