the amount of undertale fans I see that are hating on earthbound like it wasn’t one of Toby Fox’s hugest inspiration
no its not an “updated earthbound” earthbound is great on its own that’s why Fox made a game inspired by it, he literally made a earthbound Halloween hack OF earthbound, plus he put in the “main character with striped shirt fighting weird enemies” shtick to it and its awesome.
** some ** Undertale fans are so aggressive when it comes to their community because they get so stuck up with how good their game is and just totally forgets about the inspiration.
and honestly their only funny joke about it is “haha ness is sans AHAHAH” whatever u say bro
I don’t have anything against earth bound I just find the combat boring and I just can’t sit through it
I can see how someone sees the gameplay boring, but its really a hidden gem In 1990 SNES games…
Yea it’s fine I just find turn based combat that’s not in a game like Undertale/deltarune very boring
If someone made a remake with undertale like combat id play it

Once deltarune is out I need to find something dirty about toby fox and then black mail him into making it
