I guess so but people like me are not generally respected within males in school communities, which, sadly, I got to experience quite a few times.
Empathy and the like are seen as ‘girl’ or ‘teacher’ traits, while narcissistic and cynical tendencies are seen as ‘manly’.

True. But with your personality I think after high school when people actually grow up, they will learn that respect should be for those who are kind, compassionate, and humble. HS is basically kids looking to date cool guys, which turns things a little stereotypical.
