quantum physics and theoretical physics are fun. Kinda wish I could take those in 7th grade
Might I suggest Stephen Hawking’s books “The Universe in a Nutshell” and “A Brief History of TIme”? He was an incredibly clever guy, but the thing that really made him unusual (in my opinion) was his talent for explaining theoretical physics in ways that the rest of us “normal” people could understand, especially without very complex math. (You know, to tide you over for the next 10 years until you have enough higher math and elementary physics to be able to follow the graduate school-level texts.)
