So I realized my name is 2 4 6 8 | even numbers so I wanted to ask some questions:

  1. I wonder what kind of interesting numbers are out there? Even numbers? Odd numbers? Complex numbers? Irrational numbers?

There are two (that I know of) types of numbers beyond complex numbers. What they are for I don’t know, but they extend the amount of dimensions that numbers represent. The first ones are called quaternions, which represent 4 dimensions. The second ones are called octonions, which represent 8 dimensions.

Try this: 1/7 ~ 0.142
(1/7 -1/10) * 10 = 3/7 ~ 0.428
(3/7 - 1/10) * 10 = 2/7 ~ 0.285

Rinse and repeat!
