"Iron and Ice" Bug Reports and Suggestions

I think the main reason it’s glitching is because it’s attacking a dead enemy, Since, It’s targeting the enemies.

Will try to Fix

Here’s What I found

DevTools failed to load source map: Could not parse content for https://codecombat.com/play/level/treema.css.map: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0

Could be because of that?

I doubt it’s the reason. More probably it’s a cache or network issue as the problem happens with assets exactly, not with the logic.

Here is how to clear cache in chrome Clear cache & cookies - Computer - Google Account Help

Been looking at using hero.findActiveAnomalies(), and the endX and endY properties are not correct for “teleport” instances. The values for both those fields seem to be somewhere in the 51-53 range even when they’re supposed to be something quite different.

Thanks! I see the problem. It happened for the red side only and replace endY with endX. Fixed.

plz add wait function

Added wait method. done.

since there is a BURST method (strong push) can there be a strong quick pull?
something like BLACK HOLE or something?
thanks

buff the frost.
i mean the upgrades are SOO trash for what its worth.
also make mage dmg: at least 6 or 5

Thanks. Need to check how it works, I expect it can work as burst as with short duration it just can throw away monsters

They aren’t damage for

Their main purpose is antiflying defence.

no the frost only buffs 0.01 every time u upgrade it:
so maybe make it 0.05 to make it worth upgrading?

oooook, so level 5 => -0.25 => 0.25 slow factor => 4x times?
level 10 => -0.5 => 0.0 slow factor => Infinite times?

yeaaaa??? i guess??
or change the attack speed by 0.01 for every upgrade

Just draw a graph of “time to get to your base” against slow factor and you will see the problem with your idea. I dont see serious reasons to make frost towers op as they were

I haven’t tested them very much, but just eyeballing it, it seemed pretty effective to leave frost towers at level 1 and use the upgrades on more damage-dealing towers. That might be a good balance feature, actually, to make it so that evenly upgrading all towers isn’t the best strategy?

A question just for clarification, the “frost” tower, every time you upgrade it, the attack “reduces” the slow factor by 0.01?

So it becomes weaker?

Also, can you please add say() method

The specialFactor defines the monster speed so their speed is monsterSpeed * frostSpecialFactor, so the reducing of that is for good.

Also, can you please add say() method

What for? You can use console.log for debugging. ‘say’ method isn’t practical as a “print” statement.

Okays, thanks for clarification.

okie dokie

I have been having what I think is an error. The arrow towers and frost in the picture below are blue, and I did not place them. As you can see, I would have upgraded them if they were under my control. I have seen this in other places than @nick’s code, but it is slightly different with every instance. I don’t know if I am describing a feature or a hack that allows you to place towers on other people’s bords.
