I personally am typing this on my windows on a HP EliteBook that I found on the nature strip a couple of years ago and it works as good as any other computer. I used to have a linux, but that’s gone now since a lot of apps aren’t developed for it.

Yay we just updated to windows 11 a week or so ago

I also have an hp laptop with Windows 11. I’ve used to have Linux Mint on my old one, but when I got the new laptop there already was Windows in it.

I’ve got some broken, rickety, run-down, hand-me-down, Chromebook 3100. It doesn’t even allow me to watch youtube without lagging hard enough to stretch a 9 minute video into a stream’s worth of buffering.
