i dont get that either! i remember playing the fan translation, that still had the japanese content in it, it said “i want to help the zombies know about god.” but playing the 2014 nintendo version it says “i want to teach the zombies to be good”
Another example is in the original legend of Zelda the book that lets you shoot fire balls was called the Bible in the Japanese version but in the American version it’s called the book of magic

Yea having npcs that follow you throught a game is cool. Also I honestly like games that are both dark and goofy like undertale,delta rune,and everhood
