I have the same problem. I beat someone with a higher score than me and then refreshed the page multiple times. My score didnt change…

You have to look on the graph on your my-matches page. The actual leaderboard takes ages to update and will change your score and rank. I would rely on the graph.

I don’t know for sure, but it seems to me that:

  • in cases such as win-lose, tie or lose-win free accounts have some advantage.
  • Also, if player with low rank (lets say about 1000) beats first place (or 2, 3 etc) player, he would have huge rank increase and the lose leader would drop his score.
