I think CodeCombat should add a refund option, but the gems you get back would be half of the gems that you spend on the item. I think it would be a good option to add.

Many others have stated much the same; I agree too. Unfortunately, the complexity of implementing such a system makes it not worth the time and effort required.

Even getting rid of old items, without gems back would clean up my inventory. If I have worn dragonplate armor, I no longer need tarnished bronze.
